March 25, 2019

Born to be wild is the all-new tag line from Jeep Australia when it’s describing the 2019 Jeep Wrangler. This iconic car has been reimagined and redesigned while sticking to its heritage styling and recognisable look.

The new Wrangler comes down under in an Automatic only (That’s right, no manual for Aussies) and 3 trim levels. Starting out is the base mode – The Sport S, then we see the Overland and head on up to the Rubicon.

The sport S is the entry level Wrangler coming in under $50k for the 2 door version and adding about $4k for the 4 door version. It comes standard with a 3.6Ltr V6 engine with stop/start technology, paired to an 8 speed automatic gearbox. To ensure you’re all set up for your next 4wd adventure it has underbody skid plates, Dana front and rear axles and heavy duty suspension.

The next model up is the Overland. This model starts to bring luxury into the 4wd culture with leather trimmed and heated front seats with embroidered Overland Logo. leather wrapped and heated steering wheel for those cold winter mornings and everything is body coloured. The removable hardtop also comes with multiple freedom panels. When it comes to technology the Overland is all about the specs featuring ParkSense front park assist system, Sat nav, 8.4” touch screen display and a 9 speaker Alpine stereo. This list really does go on with this model with too many features to mention.

Rounding out this stellar line up of 2019 Wrangler’s is the Rubicon. Built for serious off=roaders as well as that lazy Sunday at the kids’ soccer match the Rubicon is an absolute standout. It starts off with Custom decals on the body, 32” BFGoodridge off-road tyres and heavy duty rock slider with step assist. Further to its true 4wd capability Jeep have fitted Tru-lok front and rear locking differentials and the Rock-trac 4×4 system. For that Sunday that you’re not off exploring it has proximity keyless entry, push button start, dual climate control and deep tint sunscreen glass.

Whether you’re into the great outdoors, or simply want something unique with off-road capabilities you’ll find it in the new Jeep Wrangler. As Jeep Australia states” Stay true to who you are” and Jeep have done just that. Check out the full range here.
