This September, Gerald Slaven Ford is proud to stand alongside the Ford global dealer network in a powerful new initiative—Ford Building Together. This worldwide movement unites Ford Dealers to create lasting change in their communities, and we’re excited to be part of the very first dealer-dedicated moment during Ford Global Caring Month.

Making a Difference, the Aussie Way

Led by Elena Ford and her team, the World’s Largest Dealer Food Drive is a chance for all of us to showcase the true Aussie spirit—generous, community-minded, and ready to help those doing it tough. Food security is a growing challenge across the globe, and by coming together as one Ford family, we can make a significant impact right here in Canberra.

Low Effort, Big Impact

We know life is busy, so this drive is designed to be simple but powerful. All you need to do is donate non-perishable goods—think canned food, pasta, rice, long-life milk, or other pantry staples. We’re aiming to fill up the tub of a Ford Ranger with as many donations as possible—without exceeding weight limits, of course!

From September 15 to 25, 2025, our dealership will be collecting these donations from customers, friends, and the local community. Every kilogram counts, and together we can fill that Ranger tub and make a real difference.

Capture the Moment

Once our Ranger tub is brimming with supplies, we’ll weigh the donations and share photos and videos of the incredible community effort. Ford will compile these moments into a special global video, celebrating the combined generosity of dealerships around the world.

Giving Back Locally

At the end of the drive, all collected goods will be donated to local community organisations or through Ford’s partnership with Fareshare, with drop-off points including Coles or select IGA stores. It’s an opportunity for everyone to help those who need it most.
