Holden Dream Cruise – Celebrating the end of an era!

Holden dream cruise

We know we live in Canberra, but if you ever needed an excuse to grab a last minute ticket to Adelaide the Holden Dream Cruise would be it. As holden winds down the Australian operations and the last car rolls off our assembly line thousands of loyal Holden enthusiasts are converging on Adelaides city centre to commemorate what is Australia’s Best car.

Coming to life this weekend, Sunday October 15th and starting at Elizabeth City Centre, the cruise will follow an 11km route winding its way through Adelaide to settle at My money house oval (Central district Football club) where all can reminisce about the Holdens that were and the times we had with this Iconic badge that is synonymous with Australia.

Once everyone reaches their final destination there will be free entertainment for all the family. Music concerts, a show and shine and food stall catering for everyone. Samantha Jade from Australias X-Factor will be there belting out some tunes for all to enjoy, sing, dance and celebrate a car that many Aussie families owned, loved and created many memories with.

Although it’s the end of an era, we are all still looking forward to what lays ahead for the Lion brand as we see some new and exciting models coming in from over the water. We’re not going to miss out on the best of the brand, they just won’t (unfortunately) be Aussie born and bred!!
