The all new LS3 6.2 litre Generation 4 V8 engine takes performance to a new level. Power has increased to an incredible 317kW @ 6000rpm with torque climbing to 550Nm @ 4600rpm. World-class HSV technology employs an intelligent engine control system to extract the maximum brute engine power and torque every 6.25 milliseconds. Tubular 4 into 2 into 1 extractors and an HSV exclusive limited slip final drive ratio of 3.7 (manual) or 3.27 (auto) help deliver the power straight to the road. You’re in total control all the way with the 6-speed sequential auto transmission with active select. One turn of the key and you’ll be champing at the bitumen. |

There’s a feeling of total confidence knowing that the biggest, most advanced braking system HSV has ever engineered, can at the slightest touch perfectly control such a powerful beast. Monstrous front and rear brakes have been specifically designed to optimise stopping power and reduce braking distance. In dry conditions, a mere 36 metres is all the distance required to stop from a speed of 100km/h. Front brakes boast 365mm x 32mm ventilated and grooved discs, ith aggressive sports-styled 4 piston calipers in silver with black HSV logo. Wide rear tyres combine with a bigger rear brake – 350mm x 26mm ventilated and grooved discs and 4 piston rear calipers. Advanced brake pad material and rotor designs are engineered to evenly distribute force to each brake, providing a safe, responsive feel. |
